July 30, 2018 Additional Details Below
Santana Row area
Coming up next Monday, Aug 6th at 6:30pm, San Jose will be holding a community meeting about two projects next to Santana Row: A second 11-story hotel (just around the corner of the other proposed 11-story hotel!) and a 48-unit mixed-use building on less than a half-acre. The meeting will be held at the Bascom Community Center.
San Jose D6 projects next to Santana Row at Baywood and Hemlock.
There is a Planning Commission meeting next week on Wed, Aug 8th at 7pm at Santa Clara City Council Chambers.
You can hear the developer (Core Companies) present their recently titled Agrihood project, an updated version of their original project called Sustainable Santa Clara.
For now, the site is a parking lot for Valley Fair employees during construction. Westfield currently pays $20,000/month (on top of the $10,000 they paid to the City to the Senior Center and the Parks Department), a win-win-win for the city, the community, and the developer while Valley Fair gets finished.
